What is the best aquatic plant food?
Should I use tablets or a liquid diet?
My local store carries API Root Tabs, Seachem Flourish Tabs, and API Pro Series Leaf Zone Plant Food. Does anyone have positive experience with any of these products?
I've had great results with liquid flourish- noticeable improvement in plant growth. Flourish is expensive, but the liquid should be significantly cheaper over the long run.
My plants are getting their macronutrients from fish waste, but I'm starting to see the need to add more nutrients as the aquascape fills in.
I've included two links- the Natural Aquarium advocates a simple approach, the Barr Report is full of experts doing amazing things with extremely high end equipment. I haven't purchased Tom Barr's premium writings yet, but I think it would be a good value if you want to go that deep into the field.
