Is it ok to mount a lcd tv above an aquarium?
I have a 42" lcd tv and I am getting ready to set up a 55 gallon saltwater aquarium. I am thinking of mounting the tv on the wall and setting up the tank below the tv. I am just wondering if anyone has done this and what results did you have? Is evaporation a problem for the tv? I am open to any ideas/comments on the topic....thanks!!!

I haven't done this but it just sounds like one of those situations that's just waiting to go bad. Also depends on the filters you use. I know mine spalsh a lot some days, and get me even a foot away. Not much but still..
Importance Of Aquarium Screen Saver
Users of computer application should know that aquarium screensaver is a computer program which is designed for avoiding phophor or burn-in on the crt and computer monitors by having blank screen and filling the screen with movable images when the computer infact is not in use. Such cases may appear in crts used in many public properties like atm and railway ticketing machines. Even in earlier machines same problems were there but iwth different scenario like it will show please insert your card, which is happening when the machine is already on. So avoid this risk burn-in is removed by chaning the position of the display contents after every few seconds or one can do this by knowing the number of differnt images which can changed continuously.
Aquarium screensaver taken as misnomer which helps in saving the screen of any eletrical equipments. One can alsosave the screen by turning off the monitor of these devices especially in case of computers. One should know that aquarium screensaver may consume sometime amount of cpu titme. Such cases can be seen in busy servers.
