If I buy it like that, Will the light work and not need anything else?]
Please help!
Hi there!
First of all, don't be intimidated by the fact that you are getting a big tank. Bigger tanks are actually much better for beginners, because if anything goes wrong with the water, the fish won't be immediately affected.
You are given two choices for your tank. The first one is actually a more powerful filter, because its 18w and can go through 700 liters per hour. The second one only goes through 570 liters per hour. Your tank holds about 160 liters of water therefore both filters are good enough to get the job done. However, the first one is internal, means it will take up some space inside your tank (limited free space for fish). The second one hangs on the side of the aquarium. If you get this one, you cannot buy the aquarium hood (because it wouldn't allow it to close). It's all about preference, I would go with the first one though, simply because I would want the aquarium cover.
Your light is a 30w light and covers the entire length of the aquarium, so I think it's more than enough for the aquarium. If you are going to keep real plants inside make sure you don't overuse the light, 8 hours of light a day (best in the morning) is more than enough, otherwise your plants will not be happy. This light does work, the bulb is 30w, you just hook the light up with its frame, set it on top of the aquarium, and turn it on. Make sure you test it though, sometimes the bulb could be and old one.
Good luck!
