What is the best canister filter for a 55 gallon tank?
I have a 55 gallon tank and i have a 70 aquaclear hang on. Im not very satisfied with its performance and i would like to switch to a canister. What is the best canister in the sense of quality and best made. Also what is the price of your opinionated choice?
I'm using a Fluval 304 cannister filter on a 55-gallon tank now, and it works really well. That model isn't made anymore, but the Fluval 305, which replaced the 304, is almost identical to it.
I think the list price of the Fluval 305 is around $175, but I've seen it advertised online for less.

It is not necessary to use bio-filter that generates beneficial bacteria in a natural pond.
